TRIP CHECK-IN: 7:20 AM Cafeteria at East
TRIP DEPARTURE TIME: 7:45 AM
TRIP RETURN TIME: 2:15 PM ARRIVAL
Upon arrival ALL students should proceed to the cafeteria for attendance, introduction to chaperones and further instructions. Students should locate their BUS #, and then find their chaperone, entire group should sit together.
DRESS
Students should arrive at school dressed in their East Mud Hens t-shirt, blue shorts or jeans. Please wear comfortable walking shoes such as gym shoes. We will be going directly to the stadium and no changing facilities will be available. School rules regarding appropriate dress will apply.
BUS ETIQUETTE Students should remain seated and sit with someone from their group while on the bus. No changing of seats is permitted. Electronics are permitted to listen to music or play school appropriate games, but headphones must be used. Please use normal conversational voices. Students may bring snacks, but all drinks must be in plastic bottles with reusable screw caps.

Check the weather forecast, students might want to bring a jacket or sweatshirt.
**PLEASE NOTE**
You are responsible for what you bring. Chaperones will not be responsible for keeping track of your gear. If you bring it, be prepared to take care of it. We will not be responsible for any lost items.
STUDENT GROUPS:
Students have been divided into groups of 2-6. Every group will be assigned 1 or more chaperones for the entire trip. Your chaperone is your “parent” for the day. Students are responsible for staying with their group and their chaperone at all times. You will always travel with your group and chaperone, whether you are going to get a snack or to the restroom, stay together! You are responsible for being with your chaperone. It is not the chaperones’ responsibility to keep track of you. Remember: YOU ARE TO REMAIN WITH YOUR GROUP AT ALL TIMES!
***Students performing the National Anthem will separate from their group for the performance portion of the field trip. You will follow Mrs. Mihalko, Mr. Drake, and assigned helpers. After we perform you will return to your group.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CONTACT MY CHILD?
Please do not ask your child to contact you – they will not be able to make phone calls. If you have a question or concern you should contact East at 248-489-3601 and they will immediately contact the East staff on the trip. We will immediately put you in contact with your child.
REMINDER
You are a representative of East Middle School, and will be expected to behave accordingly. All school policies will be in force. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in disciplinary action.

- You will be responsible for loading and unloading your instrument at the performance site. Students will take out their instruments, close their cases and leave them at the bus. Students will then line up in the performance line.
If not performing,
- Students not performing will remain with their chaperones and proceed with them into the stadium.
All Students,
- It is very important that you stay quiet and listen to all directions that are given. Electronic devices may be taken into the game at your own risk. We will be receiving most of our information once we get to the park so we must all work together to make sure everything is heard and followed correctly!

- If you decide to bring a backpack/bag, you may either leave it on the bus or bring it into the stadium. If you choose to bring it into the stadium, it is your responsibility and they may NOT contain food or beverages.
- MONEY FOR SNACKS AND SOUVENIRS. All students will receive a lunch voucher which can only be used for a Hot Dog, Chips, and a drink. Vegetarian students will receive a slice of cheese pizza and a drink. If students want to purchase snacks they must bring their own money. The Mud Hens have a very nice gift shop at 5/3 Stadium that students will have the opportunity to visit.
